Cajun Palms RV Resort Rules and Policies*

  • General Rules and Policies

    • ALL GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, MUST BE WEARING AN ADULT WRIST BAND (EVEN ON YOUR PERSONAL CARTS)
       

    • ALL GUESTS MUST RETURN TO THEIR CABIN OR CAMPER BY 10:30PM AND ALL GOLF CARTS MUST BE PARKED FOR THE NIGHT BY 10:30PM
       

    • NO BIKES OR SKATE BOARDS ALLOWED AFTER DARK
      (PARENTS PLEASE HELP US ENFORCE THIS RULE, IT IS FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY)
       

    • NO LOUD MUSIC (no large external speakers) KEEP IT TO A LEVEL THAT DOES NOT DISTURB YOUR NEIGHBOR, ALL MUSIC MUST BE TURNED OFF BY 11PM.
       

    • All guests and visitors must check in at our front office. All guests and visitors must wear a wristband at all times; all vehicles must display a parking tag at all times. All non camping guests must leave the park by 10:00 P.M.
    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any spot or cabin in our park; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • The speed limit for all vehicles in our park is 5 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
      Please respect the property, our neighbors, and fellow campers; Do not cut thru sites – Please use the paved concrete roads only.
    • Please park your RV, Car, Truck, Motorcycle, or Golf Carts in your designated site only; no parking on grass, please park all vehicles on concrete only and display your parking pass at all times. Vehicle owners are responsible for any and all towing fees.
    • Please do not give your gate access code to anyone.
    • Parents are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their children.
    • Quiet time is from 10 P.M. until 8:00 A.M.
    • Excessive noise, nuisance, public drunkenness, illegal drug use, sale or exchange, nudity, foul or offensive language, fireworks, explosives, and firearms are not permitted.
    • Dumping Gray water on the ground is not permitted, each spot has onsite sewer. Use of sewer donuts is encouraged, if you do not own one they are available for purchase in our convenience store.
    • Use of water for non-potable services, such as washing vehicles is not permitted.
    • Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean during their stay. Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. Trash pickup will be at 9:00 A.M., 7 days a week. All trash needs to be in sealed trash bags and placed at the road between 8 and 9 A.M., Please do not put trash out the night before. Dumpsters are provided throughout the park if you wish to remove trash yourself during the day or at night.
    • Smoking is not permitted in any cabin, building, or structure. Smoking is only allowed in designated outside areas.
    • Alcoholic beverages must be carried discretely in a cup or koozie.
    • Use of Glass bottles and containers is discouraged throughout our park.
    • Fires are allowed in all RV spots in approved above ground fire rings only. All fires must be extinguished by bedtime.
    • No outside motorized recreational equipment allowed in our park, such as 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, go-carts, scooters, mini-bikes, or private watercraft. Electric golf carts are allowed provided you register them and pay a $5.00 per day fee for a permit. Only licensed drivers over 16 are allowed to operate golf carts on our property. All Drivers shall be self-insured, proof of insurance required.
    • Children are not permitted to ride bicycles or walk around the park without adult supervision after quiet time (10:00 pm).
    • Absolutely no repairs to RV’s or motor vehicle modifications are allowed inside the park.
    • No generators please.
    • No loud music after 10:00 P.M.
    • No person within the grounds shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of himself/herself and others. Such behavior, including abusive or profane language, shall be grounds for expulsion without warning or refunds.
    • Cajun Palms RV Resort, its owners, employees and/or affiliates are not responsible for damages to your property during your stay, all campers and guests are responsible for any injury or accident they are involved in.
    • Violations of rules may result in immediate eviction without warning or refund.
    • You must understand and agree to abide by theses rules and regulations in their entirety upon check in and during your entire stay.
    • No Beer Pong or other excessive drinking games.

  • Cancellation Policy

    • There is a one-night cancellation fee charged for every reservation.
    • Vouchers for amounts paid over the one non-refundable night will be made if the reservation is cancelled two (2) weeks prior to arrival date.
    • Only Camping Credits (vouchers), minus the one non-refundable night, will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to arrival date. (Camping Credits expire 1 year after original reservation date, and can not be used on holiday weekends or transferred to another party).
    • Early departures for ANY reason are not eligible for refunds.
    • In the event of a hurricane evacuation, or any other natural disaster, or act of God related City, Parish, State, or Federally issued MANDATORY evacuation, Only Camping Credits (Vouchers) - NO refunds will be issued.
    • All refunds and Camping Credits/Vouchers, are determined solely by Cajun Palms RV Resort. Request for special refunds or credits must be made in writing providing full proof of emergency circumstances claimed.

  • RV Spot Specific Rules and Policies

    • All guests and visitors must register at our front office. All guests and visitors must wear a wristband at all times; all vehicles must display a parking tag at all times. All non-camping guests must leave the park at 10:00 P.M.
    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any rv spot; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • 4 persons included, 6 person occupancy, Additional guests @ $5.00 each/per day general access, $10.00 each/per day full access (Clubhouse, Tiki Bar and Pool). Children under 2 years of age are included in the occupancy count, however will not be charged daily guest rates.
    • Check in time is 12:00 P.M.; checkout time is 11:45 A.M. Penalties for late checkout are charged at the rate of $5.00 per hour in full hour increments only until 3 P.M. – no exceptions. Guests staying late in their spot past 3:00 P.M. will be charged the late fee penalty PLUS an additional night.
    • Full Hook-up's include 30 and 50 Amp Electric, Onsite Water, Onsite Sewer and 70 + Channels of Cable TV, all are included amenities for all RV Spots. Pull Thru spots are available at no additional charge, based on availability.
    • Pets must not be left unattended outside your RV or camper.

  • Themed Cabin Specific Rules and Policies

    • You must be 21 years of age to rent any themed cabin; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    • 6 persons included, 6 person occupancy, Additional guests @ $5.00 each/per day general access, $10.00 each/per day full access (Clubhouse, Tiki Bar and Pool). Children under 2 years of age are included in the occupancy count, however will not be charged daily guest rates.
    • Themed cabins include Full Kitchen; Sink, 4 burner Stove with oven, Microwave, Full size Refrigerator with freezer and Icemaker, Coffee pot, and toaster. Private Bathroom with Full Tub & Shower. TV, DVD player, and 70+ Channels of Digital Cable. Central Heat and Air Conditioning. Wired Ethernet (RJ45) Broadband Internet Access. Rear Patio Facing Water with Tiki Hut and Charcoal Grill.
    • Check in time is 4 P.M. – check out time is 12:00 P.M. Penalties for late checkout are charged at the rate of $10.00 per hour in full hour increments only until 3 P.M. – no exceptions. Guests staying late in their cabin past 3:00 P.M. will be charged the late fee penalty PLUS an additional night. Early check in may be available depending upon availability, please call to check availability before arrival.
    • Pets are not allowed inside or outside of our cabins.
    • Smoking is not permitted inside our cabins.
    • We provide most kitchen cooking and eating utensils.
    • We provide linens and bath towels. (Pillows, pillow cases, sheets and blankets for the bed(s) and sleeper sofa).
    • Linens will not be changed during the stay. Guests are responsible for laundering their linens during their stay. A laundry facility is available in the clubhouse. If a guest desires clean linens or an additional cabin cleaning during their stay, this can be done for a $25.00 per day charge. During the extra cleaning, all linens will be replaced and the cabin will be totally cleaned except for the used dishes.
    • Guests must provide their own beach towels, bath soap/shampoo, dish soap, etc.
    • Used dishes are to be washed by guests prior to departure.

  • Pool Specific Rules and Policies

    • Our Pool and recreation area is for registered guests and registered visitors only, no exceptions. The pool is closed during bad weather.
    • Pool hours are from 10 A.M. until Quite time (10:00 P.M.).
    • No diving in pool.
    • No running or horseplay in or around our pool.
    • Everybody must shower off before entering pool.
    • Swim suits only, no cutoffs, or street clothes in the pool.
    • There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. An Adult must accompany and directly supervise all children 12 and under.
    • No pets are allowed in our pool or recreation areas.
    • No glass containers are allowed at the pool or recreation areas.
    • Swimmers who need diapers must use diapers designed for pool use. Diapers must be changed in designated diaper changing area or restrooms.
    • If you have a communicable disease that can be transmitted by water or have been ill with diarrhea or vomiting in the last two weeks, please do not use our pool.
    • Swimmers with seizure, heart or circulatory problems are advised to swim with a buddy.
    • No food is allowed in the pool water.
    • Cajun Palms RV Resort reserves the right to refuse admittance into our swimming facility when the capacity of the pool has been reached or when otherwise deemed necessary for the health, welfare or safety of our patrons.
    • Headphones must be worn when listening to personal music or entertainment devices.

  • Pet Specific Rules and Policies

    • Pets are allowed at all sites except cabins. All pets must be controlled at all times and be on a leash when outside your camper. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. All pet waste should be picked up immediately and placed in appropriate trash containers. Pet owners are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their pets. Pets are not permitted in any building in the park, pool or recreation areas. There will be a $20.00 fine assessed to anyone who doesn’t clean up after their pet.
    • No Pit Bulls

  • Exercise Room Specific Rules and Policies

    • Use of the weight room is restricted to adults (18 years and older) and youths 14-17 with a permission slip on file. Youths need to keep their copy with them while using the weight room.
    • Wet swimming suits or other wet apparel are not permitted in exercise room. Users should place a towel over benches and seats.
    • Lower weight stack gently and quietly.
    • Shirts, shoes (closed toe), pants or shorts must be worn when using the exercise room.
    • Use of the cardiovascular equipment is limited to 20 minutes when others are waiting.
    • Headphones must be worn when listening to personal music or entertainment devices.

  • Golf Cart Specific Rules and Policies
    • The speed limit for all vehicles (including golf carts) in our park is 5 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
    • Electric golf carts are allowed provided you register them and pay a $5.00 per day fee for a permit. Only licensed drivers over 16 are allowed to operate golf carts on our property. All Drivers shall be self-insured, proof of insurance required.
    • No outside motorized recreational equipment allowed in our park, such as 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, go-carts, scooters, mini-bikes, or private watercraft.
    • Golf Carts rented from Cajun Palms RV Resort being operated in violation of any park rules and regulations are subject to seizure without refund. Operating personal Golf Carts in violation of any park rules and regulations are subject to eviction of the entire party without refund.
